The Milky Way's bright central galactic bulge in the constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius over the European Southern Observatory (ESO) 3.6-metre telescope on La Silla, southern Atacama Desert, Chile. An astronomer's car is driving uphill to the telescope. Closer in the foreground is the Swiss 1.2-meter Leonhard Euler Telescope.
