The full moon (closest to the Earth since 1948) rising with the blue band of the Earth shadow, above the Graves Light. The privately owned lighthouse is on the outermost of Boston Harbor Islands. These so-called Supermoons or perigee moons are a few percent larger across than a regular full moon and not noticeably different to most viewers.
