The Very Large Telescope in 360 Panorama   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

360-degree Panorama of the night sky over the Cerro Paranal Observatory in the Atacama Desert, Chile. With its dark and transparent sky, Paranal is home to some of the world's leading telescopes. This is the Very Large Telescope (VLT), operated by the European Southern Observatory (ESO). It is composed of four 8-metre telescopes and smaller auxiliary telescopes. The image has also captured Venus in the morning twilight, next to the Milky Way.
