A Tumbling Satellite over Dolomites   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

A time-exposure image shows the motion of the sky (star trails) and a passing satellite above Latemar Mountain in the Dolomites, Alps. The satellite is tumbling around it self and flashing in the sky. Many satellites do not have a constant brightness, they give off flashes which are often at regular times, caused by the rotation of the satellite around its rotation axis.
