Scorpion Sinks in the Snake River   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

In a starry night of the Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, the head of constellation Scorpius appears above the Snake River. The orange-red supergiant star Antares (Alpha Scorpii) is the brightest in the picture. The dark and colorful clouds in this region is known as Rho Ophiuchi Nebula. The orange and greeb bands in the sky are airglow; the natural emission of the Earth upper atmosphere.
