Snake River and Grand Teton at Night   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

The night sky over the Grand Teton national Park and the Snake River in Wyoming, USA. The Teton Range is a part of the Rocky Mountains. The Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the range, is 13,775 feet (4,199 m) high. A very strong and rare airglow activity appears in the sky. Airglow is the natural emission from the Earth upper atmosphere in green and red-yellow bands and wave like forms that appear faint and colorless to human eyes under dark skies.
