A fisheye view (fulldome) of the Washington Monument; an obelisk completed in 1884 to commemorate George Washington, the first American president. Built mainly of marble and granite, it is both the world's tallest stone structure and one of the world's tallest obelisk, standing about 555 feet (169 m) tall.
