A stargazer watches the starry sky of La Palma, Canary Islands. In this deeper than usual single-exposure photo a part of the constellation Orion appears including the Orion Nebula in the center, the Horsehead dark nebula to its left, next to the three stars of the Orion Belt. To the left and below the belt is the large red emission nebula known as the Barnard Loop. On the upper right is bright star Rigel.
