Santorini Planetarium View   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

A 360-degree fisheye view (fulldome) of Santorini Island, Greece. Santorini is known for its postcard views of the cliff-top towns of white traditional houses, built at the edge of Santorini caldera in the southern Aegean Sea. But the view at night is dominated by thousands of lights in this tourist hotspot. Away from the lights, toward the see the sky becomes dark and the Milky Way appears over the Kasteli (Castle) of Agios Nikolaos, a 15th century ruin in the town of Oia. The Moon is shining on the lower right (west).
