Delicate Meteor   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

From the photographer "It was one of the most delicate meteor shots I ever made. The condition was just too perfect! Crystal clear early morning twilight with deep blue sky, prominent stars in the view, the Milky Way and the last hint of the zodiacal light, a modified camera, a soft illumination on the foreground , and then a colorful fireball! And I was not shooting a sequence, it was just one exposure. The meteor head magnitude was -4 or a bit brighter and the glancing scene was as sweet as a grandmother cake!" To the left of the meteor appears bright planet Jupiter in constellation Taurus. A large emission nebula known as the California is above the meteor tail in Perseus. On the right of the tree, Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, is rising below Orion, the Hunter.
