An amateur astronomer explores the night sky using a computerized or so-called GoTo telescope. by selecting a celestial object from a list of thousands, the telescope rotates towards the object in few seconds and brings it in to the view. In this view taken during morning twilight the crescent Moon and planet Venus (both in Gemini) are at left (east) while the prominent constellation Orion is visible on the right. Continue southward the line of the tree stars at the Belt of Orion to reach the rising bright star Sirius.
