The band of the summer Milky Way rises above a moonlit spring landscape in Alborz Mountains of Iran. At far left Mt. Damavand one of the world's highest live volcanoes (at about 5600 m) is partly hidden by swirling clouds. As described by the photographer "It was really dreaming moments with moon setting at one horizon and the Milky Way rising from the other side".
