Southern Fish and the Crane (annotated) - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
Southern constellations Piscis Austrinus (the Southern Fish) and Grus (the Crane) are photographed over clouds in the Caldera de Taburiente in La Palma, Canary Islands. Bright star Fomalhaut, forming the mouth of the Southern Fish, appear in the upper middle. The little colorful ring at the upper right is the Helix Nebula, the largest planetary nebula in the sky.
