Sleeping under Summer Sky - By: Babak A. Tafreshi
A flock of sheep rests under starry sky of Alborz Mountains as seen from 3400-meter high Dizin peak. In this night of July summer stars in the northern hemisphere rise high in the sky. Vega is the brightest stars at top. The Milky Way and prominent figure of the Northern Cross lies below it (the asterism in the constellation Cygnus, the Swan). Deneb, the brightest star in Cygnus, marks the top of the cross. Note a pale red cloud below Cygnus. It is the North America nebula. Near the horizon stars of the dragon head (constellation Draco) are rising over the north east.
