The Milky Way and the zodiacal light (sunlight reflected from asteroid dust in the Solar System plane) appear above a trekking path on the top of La Palma, Canary Islands. Clouds appear in the Caldera de la Taburiente. The 10-km wide volcanic crater (with walls tower 2000m over the caldera floor) dominates the northern part of the island. The caldera originated some 2 million years ago with a massive shield volcano.
