Solstice Strawberry Moon   -  By: Babak A. Tafreshi

The rising moon in June, reddened by the ocean haze, does actually look like strawberry! The month of June's Full Moon is called the Strawberry Moon from a native American tradition. Photographed here on 2016 June 20 was also the fullmoon rising only 2 hours after the summer solstice, imaged from Boston's Northshore with the Atlantic Ocean and boats near the shore of Marblehead, Massachusetts.
